ESC - Volunteering
We hosted young volunteers via European Solidarity Corps (ESC) volunteer projects since 2010 (former EVS). During the last 10 years, we hosted 40 volunteers from different European countries. Our intention is to host volunteers from different countries so that they can w ork together in a multiculturalteam . The presence of foreign volunteers became a part of the foundation´s life - the volunteers m ake the daily life m ore colorfuland provide valuable help.

Next starting date: 2021 SEPTEMBER
VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES:
- helping at events for children, families or homeless people babysitting when the parents are busy
- dinner division
- participating or leading clubs like: language club, sport, art or music activities, movie club
- helping in the charity shop (organizing donations and assistance)
- managing Facebook and Instagram pages, make photos and videos
- participation in events and festivals with the team of Menedékház
- gardening
- visiting of animal shelter with the clients
- helping at the reception
- visiting other organizations
- the opportunity for the cooperation with Hungarian volunteers of the organization

- 2 free days weekly, plus 2 days off monthly
- online language course in Hungarian
- the opportunity to w ork in team w ith other volunteers – other ESC volunteers and also w ith H ungarian volunteers
- multiculturalexperience – you can work together with volunteers from other countries
- weekly m eeting w ith the volunteer coordinator
- mentor - w ho can help you w ith the integration to the localcom m unity and to learn m ore about H ungarian culture
